One of the most key parts of a relationship is communication and keeping in touch. This is what keeps us linked to the friends and family that we love so much, particularly when we are far away from them. You must try your best to maintain these strong relationships that you’ve worked so hard to build over the years. Just because you don’t get to see someone every day doesn’t mean you should let interactions with them slip. Having bonds with others is extremely important to human life and relationships run the world around us. In our hectic lives, we sometimes forget about the ones who are important to us. We become too busy to remember to call regularly or make a time to meet up for the day, and distance can be a huge barrier between us and our family and friends. Well-built relationships begin to collapse because no one is there to keep it in good shape and before we know it, it’s either nonexistent or in need of repair. We start to lose strong relationships that could’ve lasted a lifetime if we had only given a little effort. We constantly think back to what happened and what we could have done differently to save this from happening. We try to convince ourselves that there was nothing that could’ve been done, that it would’ve been way too hard to maintain, but then we start to realize that there were small little things we could have done that would have saved everything. It’s easy to think that we don’t need to worry about our relationships with people because they will just stay as strong as they’ve always been. But, like many things in life, they take lots of hard work and dedication, not just from one person, but from all involved. It hurts us so much, though we might deny it, when we lose a bond with someone we care a lot about and love so much. We stop being friends with someone or being close to family, but no matter what, we never stop caring, and we never forget them.
Our relationships with others are what make the world go around. Without them, life would be nothing like we know it. Can you imagine what you’re life, what each day, would be like without friends or family? Imagine never hanging out with anyone, talking to people on the phone, staying up late texting your best friend, falling in love? Can you imagine not having a family? Without relationships none of these things, and many more, would exist. In fact, life would not exist at all. No friendships would form, no one would fall in love, a family would never form, and there would be no new people coming into the world. Life here on Earth would be nonexistent. This all probably sounds insane and hard to imagine, which is just another reason to keep on top of the relationships that you already have and the ones that will come your way in the future.
Friendships are so important to all of us. Not having friends would damage our mental health severely. Having friends gives us someone to talk to when times are hard of we need someone to support us, and we do this in return for them when they need it. They are also who we spend time with when we are taking a break from the stress of life and are in need of having a fun time. We might take having friends for granted but we never really think about just how important they are to our lives and how much they do for us. Humans were built to run by having friendships (and relationships in general).
Family relationships are usually the most important, not that the others aren’t. But if there is no family relationships, our lives basically won’t exist. Without a family, there is no one to provide the love and care that we need to survive. From a young age, family members take care of us until we are old enough to fend for ourselves, but if they are not there, we never learn these important facts. Furthermore, if a family is broken apart or not connected, whether it’s only one bond or many, this can have a bad affect on the rest of the family, especially the younger ones. What the youngest members see going on in the family is what they base what they do in life off of because they look up to all of their family members and think that whatever they do is what should be done in life. Families need to be together so they can set the right examples for each other and be there to take care of each other through thick and thin because this is what families are meant to do. In addition, family relationships provides us with a love that we can’t find anywhere else and which is essential to our lives and emotional growth. Without the love of a family, we can never really be whole.
And last but not least, without the existence of relationships, there would be no love at all in the world which would be devastating to the human race. Love is the basis of pretty much all relationships, whether we really think it is or not. Many people think that when you say you love someone it means you are in love with them, which is not always true. There are three different types of love, the love we have for friends, the love we have for family, and the love we have for a significant other. For instance, I love my friends and family but I’m not in love with any of them, but when I get older, I will find a man that I am in love with. So all in all without relationships would be unimaginable. We need them to survive and thrive to live our lives the correct way, in the facet we are meant to. Make sure to always stay on top of the relationships in your lives and never let the people you care about slip away from you. You might not realize how important they are until it’s too late.
