Sadly, but its very true, that we always want what we can not have, in most cases it will be other peoples handsome or attractive partners, sometimes this includes their houses, cars and luxurious lifestyle, their acquired wealth and status, possible distinguished family and friends, in fact anything that is eye catching, may appeal to the unsatisfied mind. the whole idea smacks of envy and grudge, which perhaps may have began at an early age with some individuals, and has progress to enviable maturity.
Envy is a complex puzzling emotional trait, which can launch unbalance feelings towards others. It may not be in keeping with appropriate adult behavior. This mode of imbalances can put greater constraints on the vision of what other individuals may have worked for. But there is an even greater danger in been envious of what other people have, the prospect makes individuals behave in a dysfunctional manner.

But I guess the real sympathetic reason why we always want what we cannot have, is because the public display looks better than what the onlooker conceive it to be. Even though most of us have what others already have, we just can not see our own benefits.

This trait is often seen in the playfulness of children, where kids will want other children's toys to play with, and when they are tired of the novelty, afterwards for no apparent reason, they will decide to discard them, adults behave pretty much the same way as children do, we want what does not rightly belong to us, the desire to possess illegitimately can also spurn on an individual to disobey the law.

Wanting what others have becomes a haunting desire which if people are meditating upon, they will loose their way in life and finally make decisions which could be detrimental, wanting something that is desirable is good but only in the right context.

Sharing is a good way of caring, but care does not take away the desire to have what belongs to another, the wanting will still be there, adults just have to learn how to control their impulses, and keep things in perspective as we mature daily.

Sharing and caring establishes the bridge of friendship, and build concern community with people in need of help, caring and sharing is the centre of independent living, raising the awareness not to possess what others have but to give from the heart the benefit of something more lasting and appreciated.

Most of people work hard for what they have, building up substantial resources over the years, while others may looked upon them with envy and jealousy, those who want what others have wrongfully, may never have known what amount of sacrifice was made by individuals advancing to where they are, the grass only looks greener on the other side because of ignorance.

Ignorance is a state in which a person lacks knowledge, and is unaware of something that could be damaging and potentially explosive, not knowing how other people come by what they have, makes a person incapable of knowing the true sense of justice, and puts a limit on what they believe to be relevant, this unreliable source is the present state of ignorance.

But if we can learn how to appreciate what we have, and be thankful with little or much, our life will become a whole lot more meaningful, and rather than been children discarding each new toy after several twist and turns, we ourselves will be the precipitants of greater satisfaction and be happy with what we have.

How Much Do You Know About Life? I may not fully understand life, not in this life of mine. However, this is what I know about life for now. Life is a really simple if we want it to be and Life can be complicated if we want it to be.

The more I learn about life’s connection with the universe, I am starting to appreciate and love the way it is designed. Life is always simple. It is just that we tend to view it as complicated therefore it becomes complicated.

In our modern society, why is so, that we are always talking about the great people who have lived decades or centuries ago? Why are we digging up their wisdom and sharing with everybody? It is because, the principals of life remains the same even at this modern age of technology.
The rules of life has not changed at all. Whatever we want in life is attainable. We just need to focus on receiving it as we send our message to the universe. Our thoughts are physical in the universal. Whatever, we think of, will be conceive. That’s why it is important to be aware of our own thoughts. Be careful with what goes in your mind because a daily repetition can brought to you faster than you thought because the universe is simply doing her job by responding to your request.

How are all these associated with your life? It all starts from your thoughts. Whatever you wish for life will be given to you. If you want a successful life, you will be offered. However, it is not a simple order menu where you give your order and it will drop on your doorstep. You need to open your eyes and look out of all these opportunities around you. It is presented in many different forms for you. It is a method of whether are you able to recognize it.

As life is always trying to find a balance, there are inevitably ups and downs. It is part and parcel of life. The downs are lessons to be learnt so that you can appreciate the ups in life. Show to the universe that you appreciate what it is giving you by doing more for others. We are living a life for others. Therefore contribution is a spiritual enlightenment for each one of us. Are you consistently reviewing your own life and steer it to the direction you want OR are you simply flowing aimlessly with life. Look at life in a different angle and you will appreciate it.

You have a dilemma: a health problem, sadness, fear, problems in your marriage, anger, panic, anxiety, pain. “I’m stuck in life!” How many times do we hope that some external force will help us: someone’s love, God, a doctor, a pill, alcohol? Certainly, it is wise to use all legitimate and healthy resources possible to assist you in achieving health and well-being.

In mental health, you play the major part in changing your old self into the new, happy person you desire to be. How do you take charge? The way you think about some problems may determine whether you are passive and defeated, or you are active and determined.

Think Positive
In some cases if you think negative, and you are defeated. Think positive, and you get positive results. Would not you agree that all of us talk to ourselves? Yes, every thought is self-talk. We consciously talk to our subconscious mind.

The subconscious is our inner mind that guides us. It has also helped us through many emotional dilemmas so we could survive. That Inner Mind is our pilot that flies us through life. Our self-talk determines the direction our subconscious will take: the road of life or the road of death. Why not consider the subconscious as our friend, a powerful friend.

What you say to yourself is often what you get. “What a lousy day! I wonder what awful things will happen. I’ll never get through this.” Or: “No matter what happens, I am getting through it. I am finding solutions.”

Your self-talk is food for your Inner Mind. Self-talk is an active, deliberate method of feeding our brain. You can take charge of your destiny. The way you talk, however, is not a honey-coated positive thinking: “It’s a nice day. “It” never does anything. The self-talk is constructed with forceful actions and solutions. We become our own coach.
Here are some examples:
I am doing everything necessary to solve this problem.
I am eating only healthy quantities of healthy foods.
I am learning how to be a better partner.
No matter what others do, I keep my focus.
I find ways to distract myself from the pain.
I will discover ways to heal quickly. I am taking care of myself.
I will push myself to get it done.”

You do not even have to know how you will solve a problem. Trust in the wisdom of your unconscious mind: “Before I know it, this is behind me. I am finding a job I like that pays well.” You can also combine prayer with self-talk: “Dear Allah, with your help, I get it done on time.”
It is very important that you write out your self-talk sentences.
Here are some examples of effective self-talk strategies:
My goal is realistic, attainable by me. It is not too much. The goal is not an exaggeration, such as “I am the best in the world.” It is also not too little which would underestimate my abilities and capabilities. A good example: “Every day in every way I am studying effectively.”

“I”
“I” language allows the subconscious to take the message personally. “I” affirms me. Generalities do not connect with the inner me. Not “Money will come to me”, but “I am making an adequate amount money to live comfortably.”

Noncompetitive
I compete only with myself and my own previous achievements, not against others. This prevents hostility. I seek the best I am capable of doing. Example: “I am earning more than i made last year.”

Positive
I state what I want, not what I wish to quit. Example: “I am eating only healthy quantities of healthy food.” vs. “I am losing weight.” Change any negative into its positive description. The conscious mind is less likely to criticize the positive.

Present Tense
Future tense (“I will _____.”) is too easily doubted by the critical conscious mind. It is best to describe the goal as being achieved right now. “Every day in every way I am taking care of my health.” Make the verbs in the present continuous tense ( verb ends in “ing”) which means right now I am doing something to realize my goal.

Finished
Let the future be now as if the goal is already being achieved. “All days in all ways I am earning $________ a year, or, I am facing my responsibilities.” Speak as if the goal is already accomplished today.”

Definite
Words like try, hope are general and really mean maybe. “I will try,” has the hidden message of “maybe I won’t.” or “I can’t” or “I don’t want to.” It is best to be certain and put the goal into a measurable quantity. “I am studying adequately to pass the test.”

Embellish
A mental image filled with emotion is very effective for the inner mind to generate energy to accomplish the goal. Allow yourself to feel the feelings of satisfaction, happiness, excitement, joy, celebration as one imagines the scene of self with the achieved goal. “I can feel the satisfaction of celebrating my new job.”

Specific
The more exact the goal, the better. It is important, however, not to be too specific because then it becomes a chance for the critical conscious mind to sabotage the goal. The subconscious mind does not perform magic. (“In three days I will quit smoking.”) This is better: “Every day in every way I am giving myself clean and healthy lungs.”

Once you have written out your sentences, you then repeat them many times a day, especially at night, because the subconscious never sleeps and works on getting your goals. It works best through repetition. As you notice progress, you can update your sentences, always creating new ones. Since we are always talking to ourselves, we get used to talking in this effective way all the time. “I am making today a good day.”

Each of us needs to have boundaries in all of our relationships that allow us to free, safe, healthy, and whole individuals. There boundaries will vary somewhat from person to person and from relationship to relationship due to various variables.

There are five areas that cannot be taken from us without our consent. We should be careful to protect them and keep good boundaries around them. They are the freedoms to perceive what we perceive, think what we think, feel what we feel, want what we want, and imagine our own future. Keep good boundaries around these freedoms in all your relationships including your closest friend.

Think of it this way. Don’t let your friends “should” or “shouldn’t” on you. If they say “Oh you shouldn’t do that,” be cautious. If they say “You don’t want to do that,” be careful. If they say “How could you feel that way,” look out.

Also make some boundaries about what you do for your friends. Here are some general rules. Don’t do it if, they didn’t ask you. Don’t do it if they could just as easily do it for themselves. Don’t do it if you will resent it afterwards. Don’t do it if it will harm them, you, or someone else.
Keep good physical boundaries as well. There are no hard and fast rules about physical closeness. However, you should know what your comfort zone is and not let friends inside that distance without your permission. You might even say that physical distance is a measure of the “closeness” of your friendship.

Think carefully about friendship “with privileges.” Sexual intimacy changes relationships and can cross a line that makes “being just friends” hard to retreat back into.

Be clear about boundaries for your possessions and money. A “what’s mine is yours” limit is probably more than you want to set. Lending money to friends can be the end of a beautiful relationship. Often it is better is you want to help just to give money and let go of it. However, it is probably best not to give significant amounts. What is significant will be up to you and your resources. It may be $5 for one person or $5000 for another.

Think over these areas for good boundaries and take and inward look at your relationships. If it is time for a change make it.

Our parents always told us when we were children not to talk to strangers, but if you stop and think about it, we've been doing the exact opposite our whole lives. Now, before you say anything, I do realize that little nugget of wisdom our parents imparted to us was for our own protection, to save us from pedophiles promising us candy as they drove past in rickety vans. But that same piece of advice sticks with us through our whole life. We can very easily just coast through life and avoid the people around us. We all live within our own sphere of influence, and it would be very easy not to expand it and incorporate the lives of others in the world around us.

If we strictly followed that advice though, how many people would there be in our lives? Every person we encounter - every potential friend, every potential boy or girlfriend - starts out as a stranger in some capacity. They may have a mutual friend and that is how they are introduced, but in that initial first meeting, where that first impression is often so crucial, they are a stranger.
I guess this question really needs to be better defined. What do you consider a stranger? Is it anyone you haven't met? People you don't know? It's important to think about, because if a stranger encompasses anyone you do not know, even if you've heard of them, then by saying it's not okay to engage in conversation with strangers we're also saying it's most unwise to meet people at all. Then our sphere of influence would be minuscule, limited mainly to our families.
We live in a small world, but at the same time it is incredibly vast and filled to the brim with millions upon millions of lives that could intersect with our own at any time. How can we expect to live life to the fullest without taking the chance to experience interactions with others?
Yes, there will always be people you will walk away from wishing you had never met. You will wonder why you took the time to talk to them, to get to know them, to become embroiled in their affairs... but the experience is always worth it. Every interaction ultimately becomes one small jigsaw piece in the puzzle that is your life.
Think about the one person who has made the greatest impact upon your life outside of your family. At one point, you surely did not know them. They were a stranger to you. Imagine what your life would have been life without them.
Friendships begin with a single conversation. The next time you're confronted with the opportunity to carry on a conversation with a complete stranger, stick around. Talk. Be wary, yes (there are psychopaths out there, after all), but see what happens. You never know what lessons you'll learn, what great and sometimes totally off-the-wall experiences you'll have, or what truly great friends you might meet.
